. Frosh Tia Anderson & Lucy Parker won 1/2 singles. Sr Rachel Kovach & So. Ivy Landry were the last team on the court and pulled out a close 6-4, 6-4 victory to secure the win for the Hawks.
The Marshwood Hawks baseball team gets a 5-0 win over Westbrook behind six shutout innings from Andrew Gray. Freshman Ty Hussey and Liam Tiernan combined for five hits on the day pacing the offense. Hawks move to 6-6 on the season with Thornton Academy up next Thursday.

The Marshwood Hawks Baseball program beat Massabesic by a score of 15-2. Sophomore Ronan casey led the way going 2-3 with two hits, two RBIs, and Two runs scored. Noah Fitzgerald made his first start of the season and went 4.0 innings, giving up five hits, and two earned runs.
Girls Tennis singled update:
Tia Anderson did great job. She fought hard but got edged out in a match tiebreaker. Tia won the first set 6-2, lost the second set 6-7 in a tiebreaker. Then lost the match tiebreaker. A tremendous effort vs a tenacious opponent from Madawaska.

4 out of 5 matches went to 3 sets. Marshwood's freshman Lucy Parker earned the sole Marshwood victory at #3 singles with a masterful win in a 3rd set tiebreaker.
MHS Baseball
Falmouth beats Marshwood 4-1. Noah Fitzgerald went 3-4 with two doubles and an RBI for Marshwood. Andrew Gray pitched 6 innings allowing 2 runs, (one earned). Falmouth starter Dom Tracy went 4.1 innings allowing one run and getting the win.

Marshwood Boys Tennis come from behind to win a great match against Bonny Eagle 3-2.
After forfeiting second doubles and losing first singles (Graham Pruyne: 1-6, 2-6), the boys faces the task of winning the remaining three matches.
At second singles, Kai Machamer lost the first set 2-6 and then dominated sets two and three 6-2,6-2.
At third singles, Andrew Daskoski (who was last to finish) cruised through the first set 6-2, battled and lost the second set 5-7, and finished coming from behind in the third set to win 6-3.
At first doubles, Tucker Whelan & Zach Ferioli traded the first two sets (6-3,3-6) and then gutted out a 7-5 third set.
Great composer and positive attitudes from the entire team.
