The Marshwood/Noble/Traip/Sanford Knighthawks beat the St. Dominic Academy Saints 2-1 in Dover on Saturday. Goals for the Hawks were scored by Emmett Hammond and Brady Asciola. Hammond scored on a nice breakaway shot blocker side, while Asciola sniped a wrister top corner glove side from the point. Connor Lentz played great in net for the Knighthawks, only allowing 1 goal on 19 shots with some great glove saves. The Knighthawks next game is on Thursday 1/9 against Cape Elizabeth, 8 pm at Troubh Ice Arena. The Marshwood/Noble/Traip/Sanford Knighthawks beat the Biddeford/Old Orchard Beach/Massabesic Tigers 3-2 in Dover on Saturday. Goals for the Hawks were scored by Makili Matty, Emmett Hammond, and Brody Langella. Sean Sullivan added 2 assists. Connor Lentz played well in net for the Knighthawks, only allowing 2 goals. The Knighthawks next games will be in the Kennett Christmas Tournament at Ham Arena in North Conway, starting Friday 12/27. Knighthawks Record: 2-2-0

The Hawks (6-0) take down the Gray New Gloucester Patriots in overtime after trailing by 18 at the half. Natalie Lathrop hit the buzzer beater to seal the 59-56 win for Marshwood. Isabelle Tice and Natalie Lathrop had 16pts a piece followed by 10pts from Emily Clark, 9pts from Renee St. Pierre, and 8pts from Sarah Theriault who also had 10rbs.

The Marshwood/Noble/Traip/Sanford Knighthawks beat the Kennebunk/Wells Rams 4-3 in OT at UNE on Friday night. Goals for the Hawks were scored by Makili Matty (2 unassisted goals) Zac Camp, and Josh Sawyer netted the OT winner. The Rams tied the game with 9 seconds remaining in regulation when Ben Urban won a faceoff back to Weston Church, who scored five-hole on Connor Lentz with a quick shot. Josh Sawyer's golden goal for the Knighthawks came just 15 seconds into OT on a glove side snipe. Connor Lentz played well in net for the Knighthawks, stopping 21 of 24 shots. The Knighthawks next game is on Saturday 12/21 in Dover, 4:30 pm vs the BOOM Tigers.

Marshwood girls handled things on the road with a 77-25 win against Falmouth. Isabelle Tice had 16pts and 4 steals. Natalie Lathrop and Jolie folger both had 12 a piece and Renee St Pierre had 13pt and 14rbs. Sarah Theriault finished with 11pts.

Boys hoop makes it 3 in a row with 52-19 win over Massabesic. Liam Tiernan and Mason Poitras combined for 14 points in 1st quarter. 11 different players scored. Carter Shaw and Colin Barker played well for the hawks

Marshwood takes 2nd as a team today at the Tiger Tournament in Gardiner. Kylan Berry, Rogan Boisvert, Cody Bubier, Jack Anderson, and Jacob Brengolini all got 1st. Seamus Berry got 3rd. Kelsie Strong got 4th. Cody Bubier also picked up his 100th win

The Hawks take down the Mt Ararat Eagles tonight in a 45-38 win. It was a back and forth battle most of the game but Marshwood extended the lead from the ft line in the 4th to seal the victory. Isabelle Tice lead all scoring with 17pts and the other hawks who contributed were Sarah Theriault with 10pts, Natalie Lathrop with 8pts and Emily Clark with 7pts.

Liam Tiernan’s jumper with 10 seconds remaining was the game winner as Boys Hoop wins home opener against Mt. Ararat 50-49. Tiernan game high scorer with 16 points. Ronan Garrett with 14 points and 18 rebounds. Ryan Essex added 10 points.
