In our choruses and music classes, students are discovering the physical and mental challenges that some people face daily and are learning about inclusion of all abilities and acceptance for differences. We are all unique and special.
Through the generosity of The Marshwood Education Foundation, on October 14, Northeast Passage of UNH shared a “Similarity Awareness” program and brought 30 wheelchairs and other adaptive equipment for our students to experience to help understand physical challenges. We will also be sharing a Zoom Q&A with a UNH paralympic athlete.
