community

For knock outmarchMarch Marshwood Middle School focused on Community. Each day Mrs. Goulet reminds the students about the importance of community saying "A community is a group of individuals who share common interests, goals, or values and actively engage with one another. Members of a community interact and support each other, forming a sense of belonging and shared identity. Making contributions to your community is important because it allows you to improve the lives of people around you with the ultimate goal of creating a stronger, more positive environment for everyone!"

Throughout March staff looked for students that helped to make our school an even stronger community. At the Hawk Assembly on Friday, March 28th the following students were honored for their part in growing our school community: Katie Shepard, Brielle Babine, Lily Shepard, Marlo Elwell, Elsa Novak, Olivia Galuppo, Georgia Pendleton, Ally Biniszkiewicz and Anders Siebach.

After recognizing the students- the school continued to build community with some fun. Each team had a teacher representative to work with the team on a game of Heads Up. Finally, the assembly ended with a game of Knock Out with students from each of the grades. Congratulations to our Knock out winner- Nathan Duqette!
