Welcome back to another exciting school year! We’re thrilled to see students, staff, and families once again as we "roll into a good year," full of learning, growth, and fun. With energy and enthusiasm, we are ready to make this school year one of the best yet.
A Smooth Start
The first few weeks have already shown that we are off to a fantastic start. Students have settled into their classrooms, teachers are engaging young minds, and the hallways are filled with the buzz of learning. Our faculty has been hard at work preparing innovative lessons, creative projects, and new opportunities for students to explore their interests. We are focused on building a safe and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed and valued.
Rolling Into Assemblies
Last week we had our first assembly. Sixth graders and new students were welcomed to our tradition of Friday assemblies. Mrs. Goulet and Mrs. Thompson rolled through the gym on their roller skates- keeping us all guessing about what kind of fun is going to happen next. Students participated in games using the P.E. scooters and were challenged to work together to achieve a common goal.
Looking Ahead
We’ve got a lot to look forward to this year. With exciting field trips planned, school-wide assemblies, and monthly core values-there will be no shortage of memorable moments. We’re confident that 2024-2025 will be a school year of growth, discovery, and success for our students.
As we roll through the weeks ahead, we encourage you to stay connected with us through check-ins with your student’s advisory teacher, our school website, social media (“Marshwood Schools” group on Facebook and “mms_principal” on Instagram) and regular updates like this one. Let’s make this year one to remember—together!
