Marshwood Middle School students had a scary good time at our assembly on Tuesday! The assembly was rescheduled from last week. It began with a vocabulary parade- students and staff dressed up to showcase some fun costumes and vocabulary words.
After the parade, Mrs. Goulet addressed the staff about our school's core values: courage, respect, compassion, honesty, fairness and responsibility. October we celebrated fairness: Fairness is impartial or just treatment and behavior without favoritism or discrimination. Every morning staff and students are reminded to choose act in a way that is fair and kind for all. The following students earned awards for Fairness: Rhiannon Aucoin, Ryan Burke, Madaline Chase, August Trott, Elijah Sawka, Jace Cooper, Ethan Dempsey, Katie Shepard, and Ben Gennaro.
The end of the assembly was a continuation of last week's dodgeball tournament. First two student teams played an intense game that ended in a tie. The grand finale of the assembly was a dodgeball match between two teacher teams. Team Goulet sporting black as their signature color won the game. Fun was had by all!
