Last week the MHS Integrated Studies group took a trip to the Museum of Science.
They learned about electricity to complement their recent science experiments and enjoyed exhibits about the human body, dinosaurs, shadows, the Arctic, and of course had a blast on the musical steps. The students practiced navigating using maps, ordering and paying for their own lunch, and other important life skills like having to sit through rush hour traffic !
Staff members on the trip were particularly impressed with the students' ability to work together and support each other in this busy, loud environment. Their teamwork was fantastic.
