Last week, the MHS School Counseling Department hosted a "Plan Your Future" day. In total, 75 representatives from different colleges/universities, military branches, and employers met with students to answer questions and assist students in discovering and preparing for the countless opportunities available to them after high school.
To aid families in preparing financially for the costs of college, FAME (The Finance Authority of Maine) were on-site to provide a full presentation to students and families in the MHS library on this evening.
While the opportunities for students are notable, the response and feedback from representatives is also worth sharing. Representatives shared statements such as:
"Students asked great questions and had clearly prepared.", "This is one of my favorite school fairs to attend - two years in a row. Your school is doing a phenomenal job preparing your students", "I was impressed with the questions they asked and how engaged they were in our conversations."
