Recently, students in the Integrated Studies program visited Walker-Keay Farm in Eliot to learn about growing and harvesting vegetables without pesticides, what type of produce is grown locally, and how to weigh and measure items for sale.
They also practiced paying for items with cash, making sure they received the correct change and what is an appropriate amount to leave in the tip cup.
