Great News from Marshwood High School
On May 20th, 21st, and 28th, freshmen from the advisories of Mrs. Crowley, Mrs. Leitz, Mrs. Haemker, Mr. Livingston, and Mrs. Lalos visited Leaps and Bounds Daycare to read books to the children. There were lots of laughs, snuggles, smiles, and fun had by all. When stories are read to children, it greatly benefits them by enhancing their language skills, sparking their imaginations, and fostering a love for reading. Additionally, participating in service activities helps high school students develop a sense of community, build empathy, and gain valuable life experiences.
