GWS is getting festive! The 5th-grade classrooms invited 4th-grade classrooms to join them on their journey of learning about holidays around the world!
This was a fun and exciting project where many students learned about different holidays and traditions, and some even got to hear of their classmates' different traditions.
Some of the holidays featured were Hanukkah, Maslenitsa, Bodhi Day, St. Lucia’s Day, Diwali, Boxing Day, and many more! The students really enjoyed getting to decorate their doors and showcase what they learned about each holiday to other classes in the building.
The doors look fantastic and we look forward to continuing this new tradition at GWS! Happy Holidays!
