On Monday afternoon, MGWS first ever Unified Basketball team came out to play for the school!
Unified sports is a program designed to provide all students, that have a wide range of abilities, to experience team sports and all the fun that comes with it!
Coach Gorman and Coach Caverly announced our athletes:
Jason Woods, Jackson Burke, Max Penney, Briggy Elwell, Brooklyn Cormier, Logan Cormier, Luka Drew, Sorrel Lawson, Mack Sbrizza, Eddie Baggs, Lily Bisson, and Max Blackman was our program alumni volunteer.
Our rock band played Eye of the Tiger, while the team showed off their amazing skills!
The team worked really hard at their practices, and they played the half-time show on Tuesday night at the High School where the High School Unified team played.
