Winterfest 2025!
MGWS has not had snow for 3 years to be able to have our toboggan races to cap off Winterfest! It was an amazing day!
Class against class, to see how many students could make it down the hill to the finish line with the most students sledding!
DJ Carmen was there, cranking out tunes while students and staff danced. There was also an ice cube relay race, the biggest snowball fight, and a hot cocoa station was available to warm everyone up while they played in the snow!
At the end of the day the whole school went out on the playground hill to cheer on our finalists from earlier! A tie for 1st place for 5th grade was Mrs. McPherson's class and Mrs. Quito's class! Our 4th grade winning class was Mrs. Moore's class! Congratulations!
Thank you so much to our PTO, and the parents that gave your time today to help make this happen! A HUGE shout out to our families and sponsors that have donated! Because of YOU, MGWS is able to do so many things for the students! Donations came in at close to $24,000!!!
