WHORAH for S’MORES!
Who Reads At Home was a PTO sponsored event for our fifth graders.
The PTO generously bought a book for every fifth grader with the theme of empathy and kindness. The students had 6 weeks to read their book and write a summary on it.
If the students completed the challenge, they were rewarded with a s'mores party on Thursday!
96 out of 151 students completed the challenge!
The kids braved the cold and winds and had smiles on their faces.
Great job fifth graders!!! Thank you PTO for this fun event!
(The portable fire rings also came in handy for morning drop off!)
