Hawk Conference

Last Friday, our dedicated teachers and staff came together for our Hawk Conference, a productive and inspiring Professional Development Day focused on enhancing student learning and collaboration. The day was filled with engaging workshops, meaningful discussions, and hands-on activities designed to strengthen our instructional strategies and support student success.

Key highlights included:
✅ A dynamic keynote session by Nicole Davis from Maine Department of Education on Artificial Intelligence in our schools.
✅ Breakout workshops on inclusive teaching practices, AI integration, outdoor learning, trauma informed teaching,  classroom management, differentiated instruction and more.
✅ Collaborative team discussions to share best practices and enhance cross-grade level communication.
✅ A mindfulness and wellness session to help staff prioritize self-care and work-life balance.

The energy and enthusiasm demonstrated throughout the day were truly inspiring! Thank you to all our presenters, sponsors and participants for making this day a success. We are excited to bring these new strategies into our classrooms and continue fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for all students.
