Third Graders have spent the fall conducting an experiment in our hoop house planting spinach to harvest throughout the fall and winter seasons. Their spinach crop continues to be bountiful! On two different occasions they have harvested and shared the spinach as a salad during the school day. They will continue to water, weed, and observe and hopefully harvest more spinach. We will learn how to grow this crop throughout the school year! Will it work with colder days and less light?
