Kindergarten and Fifth Grade Friendships

This school year Ms. Venegas’ Kindergarten class and Mrs. Morse's fifth grade class have taken turns visiting each other’s classrooms. They have shared snacks, celebrated traditions, made crafts, created fairy houses, read endless books together, and formed beautiful friendships.
On Monday, they celebrated the end of the year together with the fifth grade students bringing homemade solar ovens to the Central School garden. They taught the Kindergartners how to make solar s’mores, and read books while they baked. The afternoon ended with some fun on the playground together, and the Kindergartners presented their friends with thank you cards. It was a wonderful collaboration for all!
