Processing of the Maine work permit can be completed at the high school or at the Superintendent office.  The application along with proof of age (birth certificate copy) are required.

• The high school office hours are:  7 am to 3 pm, Monday thru Friday during the school year and 9 am to 1 pm, Tuesday thru Thursday during summer break  

• The Superintendent office hours are:  8 am to 4 pm, Monday thru Friday

Please note:  In order to process the Maine work permit the student must have obtained a job offer from a business in Maine and be able to provide the job duties on the work permit application.  The application is then sent directly to Augusta from the high school/Superintendent office for review. Turn around time is approximately one week.

The district does not process New Hampshire work permits.  Parents/students should contact the New Hampshire town in which they are seeking employment for proper procedures.
